AmpliTube 4 is a guitar and bass tone studio for Mac/PC that works as a standalone application and as a plug-in for your favorite DAW. AmpliTube recreates the entire guitar/bass signal chain from instrument to recording device, and does so in a very realistic and intuitive way.
This occurs because GarageBand has a separate folder where the Presets are located.
To get the presets to appear in GarageBand, try the following steps:

1. Quit GarageBand, AmpliTube, and all other applications.
2. Go to this directory on your Mac and make sure all your presets show up:
Mac HD > Users > (your user name) > Documents > IK Multimedia > AmpliTube 4
Leave this window open. Click on the “AmpliTube 4” folder to select it, click on Edit, and click Copy.
3. Click on the File menu again, and click on New Finder Window.
4. With this new window open, Option+Click on the Go menu at the top of your screen and drag down to Library.

Note: If you release the Option key, the Library option will disappear.
5. Open the following path inside the Library folder: Containers/Com.apple.Garageband/Data/Documents/IK Multimedia. Drag the Amplitube 4 folder to the trash.
6. In this “IK Multimedia” folder, click on the Edit menu and click Paste. This should paste the “AmpliTube 4” folder that you copied. Check to make sure that all the Presets appear here.
7. Open GarageBand and load AmpliTube 4. You should now see the Presets available from the upper-left menu.
