Vocalign was originally developed for dubbing mixers to help them line up replaced dialogue with originally recorded audio, but it has since found its way into the armoury of many a producer and mix engineer, thanks to its ability to align the timing elements of one audio track with another (such as tightening up backing vocals, for example).
